Dynamic 2T SE Kit (pair)
The Dynamic 2T kit is designed to match the rest of the Dynamic
Series. This tower will work well with the Dynamic 2CC center
channel or 4CC center channel. Use the Dynamic 0.5 or Dynamic
1S as surrounds in a 5.1 or 7.1 system. The cabinet features a
separate sealed chamber for the midrange and a bass reflex ported
alignment for the woofers to extend the bass down to 42hz
anechoic.
The RS180-8 bass driver is from the Dayton Reference Series line,
and in our opinion, offers an excellent value in price to
performance. The midrange unit is the very light titanium coned
Tang Band W4-1337 driver, which contains a shorting ring in
the neo magnet based motor. This provides a smooth response
and lower harmonic distortion. The tweeter is the Scan Speak
D2608/9130 HDS tweeter, which is extremely popular in the DIY
scene because of its excellent performance and airy top end detail.
It also features an advanced motor which allows it to play loud
without strain.
This kit is designed to work well in a custom enclosure that can
either be built by CLD or the DIYer. After the kit is purchased,
the cabinet plans are forwarded to the customer.
The Dynamic 2T crossovers come professionally assembled on a
pair of circuit boards. High quality parts are used throughout
the parallel circuits, including film capacitors and air core
inductors. The series tweeter circuit uses metal oxide resistors
and Solen capacitors, while the series woofer circuit uses a low
DCR Sledgehammer inductor. Many options are available for
