Each kit is the cost of all the parts with no additional charge for R&D. Pricing is for a pair unless indicated (excludes center channels for example). I will not separate or sell just the crossovers without the purchase of a kit. I'm flexible about what goes in the kit, or what parts you might want to substitute, but part of the reason the kit pricing can remain at the retail pricing you would find at other vendors, and I can charge nothing for the assembly of the crossover, is that I make a small percentage on the sale of the drivers and parts. All the drivers carry a 1 year warranty through the manufacturer, or myself if the manufacturer is not available for a claim. Return Policy: If you change your mind for whatever reason, return the parts in unused condition for a refund within 15 days of receiving the items. Damaged kits must be reported to UPS immediately, and handled through the shipper. Legal Stuff: All the kit designs are proprietary, which means the circuit can not be shared with anyone or reproduced. Cabinet building can put you at risk to injury. I will not be held responsible for any mishap with the building of these speakers. Also, the kit requires that you have a basic understanding of electronics. One mis-wire can result in an amplifier burning up. Care must be taken to test the system before hooking the speakers up to your electronics. Under no circumstances will Clearwave Loudspeaker Design be held responsible for mistakes that result in damage to other connected electronics or lead to personal injury. All the assembled crossovers that leave the factory will be tested for safe operation, but the rest is up to the purchaser to check. Unlimited support via email and the forum is available for anyone seeking advice on his/her build. Contents of the kits: All kits include everything you need to build the speakers minus the cabinets, unless you buy the "partial kit," which is just the drivers and crossovers. The list of parts for the full kit include: drivers, assembled crossovers, internal speaker wire, dual binding posts/cup, dampening materials (Sonic Barrier and Acousta Stuff), flared ports, gasket tape, floor spikes, and mounting screws. I can supply quick connects or solder based on your preferences. Crossovers use air core inductors on the midrange and tweeter circuits, low DCR coils on the woofer circuit, poly caps below 70mfd, non-inductive resistors, and point to point connections. More expensive caps than Solen/Dayton can be used at additional cost. The inductors are specific to the design, but if a large air core is desired on the woofer circuit, that can be arranged as well at additional cost (this excludes the Aria 10s and Duet10A, which use all poly caps everywhere and low DCR 14 gauge air core inductors in the woofer circuit). Some of the kits use the ready made Parts Express curved cabinets or Madisound real wood veneer cabinets. I can get those to you as well. Email me and I will prepare an invoice via paypal and send it to you. I'm currently updating all the pricing with detailed BOMs for each speaker. Email me for the latest prices if you don't see the speaker listed below. We can customize each speaker with whatever parts you want as long as I can get it from my suppliers. Thank you for your interest in Clearwave Loudspeaker Design products. Pricing subject to change without notice! New Pricing below effective 8/6/09. |
